Whirling Dervish is an interactive projection of motion sensitive and sound-responsive shapes.
Viewers are mirrored in the projection as dimensional and colorful twirling shapes. The blobby avatars turn as the viewers move around and experience their new forms, changing the color, scale, and rotation as they move. The projection area around them moves and changes color in response to their movement and sound.
Whirling Dervish was installed at Allumere in Natchez and LunaFete in New Orleans.
